Turf removal
Turf Removal in Albuquerque for Xeriscape Conversion
Sod removal, soil prep, drip conversion, mulch, and planting for ABCWUA rebate-ready conversions. For rebate projects, do not remove turf until the project is pre-approved by ABCWUA.
Why pre-approval matters
ABCWUA generally requires pre-approval of the conversion plan before any turf is removed for the Water Conservation Rebate. Removing turf first can disqualify the project. Pre-approval also typically requires inspection of the existing turf condition. Confirm current rules at abcwua.org before any removal work.
