What this site is
Albuquerque Xeriscape is a free consultation request line for xeriscape design, turf removal, drip irrigation, and ABCWUA rebate-ready conversion requests. Work is performed by an independent local New Mexico designer or installer when one is available and the project fits.
No contractor-client relationship with the website
Submitting a consultation request, calling the phone number, or receiving a follow-up does not create a contractor-client relationship between you and Albuquerque Xeriscape. Any installation contract is between you and the matched independent local provider.
No rebate guarantee
- No guarantee of ABCWUA rebate eligibility.
- No guarantee of the current rebate amount, caps, or rules.
- No guarantee that ABCWUA will approve a given conversion plan.
- No guarantee of rebate payment timing.
ABCWUA controls all rebate eligibility, inspection, approval, amount, available funding, and payment timing. Verify rules at abcwua.org. Rio Rancho is not part of the ABCWUA xeriscape rebate program — Rio Rancho has its own City of Rio Rancho Outdoor Rebates program with separate rules.
No service or response guarantee
- No service guarantee.
- No guaranteed response time.
- No emergency service guarantee.
- No guarantee of provider availability for a given address or project.
- No guarantee that any specific designer or installer will be matched.
Written proposal controls scope and pricing
Any pricing or timeline information shared during a consultation is preliminary. The written design proposal from the matched provider — accepted by you in writing — controls final scope, pricing, and schedule. No work begins without an itemized proposal you have approved.
License and insurance verification
You should request and verify license or registration information, where applicable, and insurance documentation directly from the matched provider before signing any agreement. Albuquerque Xeriscape does not warrant or guarantee provider-specific credentials.
What we do not handle
We do not handle lawn mowing, new sod installation, emergency irrigation repair, tree removal, general yard cleanup or seasonal-maintenance-only work, fence / pergola / deck construction, pool or fountain installation, pest control, or weed-treatment-only services.
Provider relationship
When a request is routed, the matched provider is an independent local New Mexico designer or installer — not an employee, agent, or partner of Albuquerque Xeriscape. The installation contract is between you and the matched provider. Albuquerque Xeriscape does not warrant or guarantee any provider’s work.
Editorial accuracy
Pages on this site are reviewed periodically against primary sources (ABCWUA, City of Rio Rancho, NMSU Cooperative Extension, and the New Mexico Regulation & Licensing Department). Rebate amounts, plant-allowance rules, mulch requirements, and irrigation requirements can change. Always verify current rules directly with the applicable water authority before relying on them for project planning.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes should be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.
Tracking and recording
Calls go through a tracking number and may be recorded for routing and quality. Form submissions are logged. See the Privacy Policy for tracking-tool details.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Albuquerque Xeriscape is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site, the consultation request line, or from work performed by an independent local provider matched through the site.
Changes
These Terms may be updated. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
